Gryllidae with Body Full of Water & Moving Air Bubble
This beautiful nymph of cricket belonging to the Suborder Ensifera is characterized by the elongated, filiform multi segmented antennae, which are much longer than the length of its body and by the strong, elongated hind legs adapted for jumping. Crickets go through incomplete metamorphosis, they hatch from the egg looking like adult crickets, only smaller and lacking the wings. Through successive moults, the nymphs develop wings until their final moult into a mature adult with fully developed wings.
